Which is better Aune MKI or Aune T1 Mk2?
Which is better Aune MKI or Aune T1 Mk2?
MKI with stock tube EH6922 sounds a bit sharp on treble and dry for thinner sound headphone. But with the same stock tube, MK2 no longer having the sharp treble issue which is a big YES to me. For sound signature wise, Aune T1 MK 1 has very huge sound stage, clean, refined, thin music body and lesser bass.
How is the aune T1 Mk2 headphone amplifier different?
The Aune T1 MK2 differs in that it’s a tube DAC. So the vacuum tube corresponds to the DAC circuitry, not the amplifier circuitry. The amplifier itself is a solid state amplifier. So in a way, the T1 is a hybrid device, combining analog vacuum tube in its DAC, and digital solid state in its amplifier.
What kind of Bluetooth does Aune T1s use?
The T1 s is the fourth generation of the classic aune T1 series. USB supports up to 32bit/768k and DSD512; supports aptX HD Bluetooth decoding; adopts the ES9038Q2M DAC chip, the third generation OP十BUF amp module and a 6922 tube from EH, leading to a very rich sound.
What kind of DAC does the aune use?
While the DAC used in the Aune is capable of 192KHz, the USB front-end is limited to 96KHz. The tube is used in the DAC stage, not the headphone amplification stage. As others have mentioned, the Aune is heavy. It is beautifully made and solid. My only complaint is about the plastic cover over the tube.
Where is the USB port on the aune T1?
The T1 comes with a USB cable. The case is in solid brushed aluminium and features a 6.3 mm jack output on the front panel. The 6922 power tube is situated at the top of the device along with a volume potentiometer and an input switch (USB or line).
