Why did they Recast Fandral in Thor?
Fandral is played by Zachary Levi in Thor: The Dark World, replacing Dallas after the actor’s commitment to Once Upon a Time created scheduling conflicts. His role is expanded from comic relief in the first movie, as he assists Thor with leaving Asgard.
What happened to volstagg?
Volstagg and Fandral are killed as she enters through the Bifrost, with the Goddess of Death effortlessly stabbing them with immaculately created knives. Hogun puts up more of a fight, challenging Hela at the entrance of the city but he too is speared in a rather violent manner.
