What is Bio Gide?
What is Bio Gide?
Description. Geistlich Bio-Gide® is a biocompatible, sterile resorbable bilayer collagen membrane for guided tissue and bone regeneration. The dense surface—facing the soft tissue— will prevent the ingrowth of fibrous tissue into the bone defect.
What is Jason membrane?
The Jason® membrane is a native collagen membrane obtained from porcine pericardium, developed and manufactured for dental tissue regeneration. The advantageous biomechanical and biological properties of the natural pericardium are preserved during the production process.
How do you use Mucograft?
Apply the dry Geistlich Mucograft® to the defect; it will moisten rapidly due to marked hydrophilicity. Position the compact structure facing outwards and the spongy structure towards the bone or periosteum. Soaked matrix adapts spontaneously to contours and adheres well to defect.
What is PTFE membrane dental?
A non-resorbable high-density polytetrafluoroethylene (d-PTFE) membrane has recently been designed specifically for use in bone-augmentation procedures that seems to assure a good bone regeneration process even when the membrane is exposed to the oral cavity.
What is porcine pericardium?
Pericardium is a tough, double-layered membrane which covers the heart. Both bovine & porcine pericardium is harvested, cleaned, and processed as a biomaterial for use in several clinical applications. Principally composed of collagen, pericardium provides strength and elasticity.
How is Bio Oss made?
Bovine porous bone mineral (Bio-Oss Collagen) is a relatively new material used in periodontal regeneration. This material is prepared by protein extraction of bovine bone which results in a structure similar to human cancellous bone and has the ability to enhance bone formation.
How big are the planets in our Solar System?
Size of the eight planets. According to NASA, this is the estimated radii of the eight planets in our solar system, in order of size. We also have included the radii sizes relative to Earth to help you picture them better. Jupiter (69,911 km / 43,441 miles) – 1,120% the size of Earth.
How can you tell the Order of the planets?
You can also zoom in and out on the planets or the Sun using the plus and minus buttons. Use the buttons at the top to sort the planets by their order from the Sun or by their size. The illustration shows correct relative size and order of the planets. Distance between planets is not to scale.
How big is Jupiter compared to the Earth?
Earth – 3,959mi (6,371km) radius. Mars – 2,106mi (3,390km) radius; about half the size of Earth. Jupiter – 43,441mi (69,911km) radius; 11x Earth’s size. Saturn – 36,184mi (58,232km) radius; 9x larger than Earth. Uranus – 15,759mi (25,362km) radius; 4x Earth’s size. Neptune – 15,299mi (24,622km) radius; only slightly smaller than Uranus.
How big is Venus compared to the Earth?
Venus – 3,760mi (6,052km) radius; only slightly smaller than Earth; Earth – 3,959mi (6,371km) radius; Mars – 2,106mi (3,390km) radius; about half the size of Earth; Jupiter – 43,441mi (69,911km) radius; 11x Earth’s size; Saturn – 36,184mi (58,232km) radius; 9x larger than Earth; Uranus – 15,759mi (25,362km) radius; 4x Earth’s size
