How long do UKC papers take?
Our standard processing time is 7 to 10 business days; however this does not include any mail time. Please allow at least 3 to 4 weeks from the time you mail your paperwork for processing and mailing. UKC encourages customers to use a mailing method by which tracking can be used.

How do I check my UKC registration?
There is no way to look up a dog’s UKC number on-line. You can call us at (269) 343-9020 and the Registration Department can give you the number over the phone. Our phones are on from 9:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. M-F, Eastern time.
How many breeds does the UKC recognize?
The UKC is an international registry and currently recognizes over 300 separate breeds.
What does PR mean for dogs?
PR stands for “Purple Ribbon” It applies to any dog whose parents, Grandparents & Great Grandparents are all UKC registered. If the dog is over a year of age and the litter was never registered you can fill out one of our American Pit Bull Terrier single applications, which can be downloaded from our website.
