Target grades are different to predicted grades. Predicted grades are generally teacher-generated. As a teacher, at each data point during the school year, we’re asked to give certain data for each child we teach.

In general, standardised scores use a measure of overall attainment for each pupil, which is then adjusted for month of birth. FFT now use the mean overall fine grade from test and teacher assessment, which also includes marks.
