Ac1 is terribly repetitive and the only god things it has going fo it, the story ( maybe) and the assassinations are done so much better in AC2 and the other. It’s not really necessary to know all the story to enjoy the later games. I’d recommend not playing it unless you really want to know the altair storyline.
